Terms of Service
At Cloud 2 Copier, we are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service to our customers across Canada. Our return policy is designed to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase.
30-Day Warranty: All parts come with a 30-day warranty from Cloud 2 Copier. Extended warranty periods may be available based on the manufacturer's own warranty terms and conditions.
Defective Items: If an item proves to be defective within 30 days of receipt, our policy is to replace the product at no cost to you. We will also cover the shipping costs for the replacement item once testing has been completed on the defective product.
Non-Returnable Items: Due to the sensitive nature of certain parts and supplies and/or their packaging, some items cannot be accepted for return. These generally include OPC belts, fuser units, photoconductor drums, image units, image transfer units, toners, and similar consumables. These items are highly sensitive to proper installation and cannot be resold once package seals have been broken.
Condition of Returnable Items: Returnable items must be in new condition in all respects other than the reported defect. Cloud 2 Copier must be notified of any defective and/or damaged items within 30 days of receipt. Upon notification, a reasonably detailed description of the issue will be required. Simply stating that an item arrived DOA is not sufficient.
Testing and Replacement: Once a defective item has been returned, Cloud 2 Copier will submit it for testing. Testing times can range from 2 days to 3 weeks depending on the item. If a consumable item is confirmed defective after testing, our policy is to replace the product at no cost and cover shipping of the replacement. Replacement items will not be dispatched until the defective item has been received and tested.
Responsibility for Damages: Due to the sensitive nature of copiers, printers, and/or fax machines, Cloud 2 Copier cannot accept responsibility for any additional damage that may occur to parts or components of a machine beyond the consumable item purchased from Cloud 2 Copier, regardless of the cause of failure. If a returned item is found to be non-defective, or has failed due to excessive use or damage during installation, the item will be returned to the customer, who will be responsible for all shipping charges and any replacement item that may have been sent prior to testing completion.
Damaged Items: If your item arrives damaged, please retain all original packaging and the damaged item at the delivery location. Cloud 2 Copier must be notified of the damage within 30 days of delivery, as we are unable to process damage claims beyond that period. For damaged items reported within 30 days, our policy is to file a damage claim with the carrier and ship a replacement item via standard ground courier at no additional cost to the customer. Cloud 2 Copier will require photographs of the damaged item(s) for the carrier and/or manufacturer. If a carrier inspection is required, all packaging and the damaged item must remain in the condition received and be available for pickup at the original delivery address. Failure to provide requested photographs or to make the item available for carrier inspection will result in the damage claim being denied, and Cloud 2 Copier will be unable to issue a refund or replacement.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA): To exchange and/or return an unopened item within 30 days of purchase, please contact us at 780-555-0142 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Packaging must be in original condition and the product must be over-boxed prior to return. A restocking fee of 25% applies and the customer is responsible for all shipping charges, including any original shipping charges. Cloud 2 Copier does not issue return shipping labels. Customers exchanging products will be responsible for the 25% restocking fee, return shipping of the original product, and any additional shipping charges for the replacement. All sales are considered final after 30 days of purchase; returns and/or exchanges will not be accepted after this period.
Open Box Returns and Special Orders: Open box returns and/or exchanges cannot be accepted, as these items cannot be resold. Items listed as Special Order or discontinued with limited availability are not eligible for return or exchange.
Express Shipping: For customers selecting express shipping options, the carrier will guarantee expedited delivery by a specified day and time depending on the service chosen. If your package is not delivered on time, we recommend contacting us at 780-555-0142 promptly to check your shipment status and determine whether a shipping credit applies. If a delay is caused by a carrier or Cloud 2 Copier error, express shipping charges may be eligible for a refund. Delays caused by circumstances beyond the carrier's or Cloud 2 Copier's control — such as weather or other conditions — would not qualify for a shipping credit.
